Alan Jaske

Associate Principal

Alan Jaske is an associate principal in CRA’s Antitrust and Competition Practice. An expert in economic theory and the analysis of mergers and their competitive effects, Dr. Jaske has guided clients through every stage of merger review, from pre-deal risk assessments and HSR filings to second-request compliance, advocacy, and litigation.

His experience spans multiple jurisdictions and a wide range of industries including agriculture, manufacturing, consumer products, healthcare, transportation, telecommunications, enterprise networking, and waste management. Beyond merger analysis, Dr. Jaske has conducted both theoretical and empirical analysis in antitrust litigation involving monopolization, anticompetitive bundling, algorithmic collusion, and harms to innovation.

Prior to joining CRA’s Antitrust and Competition Practice, Dr. Jaske received his PhD in economics from Duke University, where he conducted research on the economics of innovation, taught undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, and worked as an independent consultant.
