Patrick Augustine

Vice President

Patrick Augustine is a vice president in CRA’s Energy Practice. He specializes in market analysis and strategy development within the electric utility and power market sectors.

Mr. Augustine is experienced with power market dispatch systems and utility planning tools and leads consulting assignments across North America in support of utilities, project developers, investors, and lenders in their resource planning, project development, and financing efforts.

Mr. Augustine has significant experience developing power market modeling approaches and integrating key market drivers such as fuel prices, environmental policy, and market design changes into economic analyses that evaluate expectations for power market prices, asset and portfolio valuations, and utility cost and risk profiles.

Mr. Augustine is a frequent writer and presenter in the power market space and has testified before state utility commissions in Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas on various electric resource planning and power market analysis topics. He also has significant experience leading stakeholder engagement processes in the resource planning space.

Mr. Augustine holds a Masters of Environmental Management from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University and a BA from Harvard University.
