A Charles River Associates Competition team was retained by The Hershey Company, an industry-leading snacks company with iconic brands, to advise on its acquisition of LesserEvil, the maker of organic snacks with better-for-you ingredients.
On November 19, 2025, Hershey completed its acquisition of LesserEvil. CRA expert, Dr. Elizabeth M. Bailey, supported by a team of CRA economists, including Dr. Renée Duplantis, Dr. Steve Waters, Dr. Yajing Jiang, Dr. Tanguy Brachet, Dr. Dimitrios Dimitropoulos, Dr. Marianne Bernatzky, Duncan Graham, Dr. Alina Kovalenko, Grace Luo, Dr. Bela Szabadi, and Varu Newar provided support to Hershey on competition and regulatory compliance aspects of its acquisition.
