Mr. Moore provides clients with practical and achievable regulatory strategies focused on integrating reliability, operations, and security. This includes bolstering risk, resilience, and compliance programs to foster grid reliability and security in the face of extreme weather events, changing regulations, and technology adaptations. Mr. Moore offers guidance derived from his experience as a former regulatory, compliance manager, and over 20 years in regulatory compliance and operations.
Mr. Moore’s experience includes NERC program strategy and design; assessments for NERC compliance, reliability, and security performance; enterprise-wide risk and internal controls assessments; wildfire mitigation development and independent evaluations; emergency Operations Plans and extreme weather preparedness; presentations and regulatory updates delivered to PUCs, Boards of Directors, and utility leadership, and government agencies; FERC and NERC policy analysis; and critical infrastructure protection maturity model and security frameworks reviews and guidance.
