Aniket Bhardwaj has over 15 years of experience specializing in incident response services, strategic & tactical threat intelligence, and cyber intrusion investigations across numerous industries including financial institutions, manufacturing, energy, retailers, and telecommunications.

Mr. Bhardwaj’s areas of focus include helping clients through crisis situations and breach response investigations concerning state-sponsored threat actors and organized crime groups, and has worked on intrusion investigations for companies related to cybercrime, data theft, threat detection, and incident remediation. When not working on crisis engagements, Mr. Bhardwaj leads pre- and post-incident services including Incident response retainers, working with clients to enhance their forensic readiness as well as improve their incident response maturity. Prior to joining CRA, Aniket established and led the Incident Response team for one of largest consulting firm in North America.

Within Incident readiness, Aniket has managed maturity programs for various clients as a part of establishing robust threat detection programs, creating incident response plans and tactical incident playbooks ranging from malware analysis, ransomware investigation, and overall incident remediation. Mr. Bhardwaj frequently moderates table top simulations for organizations board and tactical response teams, and help clients’ mature their threat hunting programs.

Aniket is SANS GIAC certified with the following – Forensic Analyst (GCFA), Malware Reverse Engineering (GREM), Network Forensics Analyst (GNFA), Intrusion Analyst (GCIA); and a trained professional in Memory & Digital forensics, Advanced Incident response, and Threat Assessments within Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Mr. Bhardwaj earned a Master’s degree in Security Informatics (Forensics & Cryptography) from Johns Hopkins University – Baltimore, and currently pursuing his MA in International Affairs from King’s College – London with specialization in Espionage & Surveillance. He is also a member of professional organizations such as the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA).
