Peter Nolan

Vice President, Co-Practice Leader of Risk, Investigations & Analytics

Peter Nolan is a Vice President and the co-leader of the Risk, Investigations & Analytics practice. He has extensive experience in the strategy, sale, management, and delivery of consulting services in investigations, cybersecurity, independent monitorship, and monitoring trustee assignments.

Mr. Nolan has advised on anti-money laundering/Bank Secrecy Act (AML/BSA) investigations; due diligence; geopolitical, business and market intelligence; asset tracing; and internal investigations, including fraud, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) investigations. His work is primarily focused in the financial services and alternative investments sector, as well as in life sciences, chemicals, and energy, among other industries.

Prior to joining CRA, Peter was a Senior Managing Director at FTI, where he led the Global Risk and Investigations Practice and was a member of its Forensic & Litigation Consulting leadership team.  From 2008 to 2011, he was Vice President, Corporate Investigations at Controls Risks Group, LLC and North American practice leader of business intelligence working with multinational clients in Asia, Western Europe, and the Middle East.

Peter speaks Chinese (Mandarin) and has used his language skills throughout his career, particularly on business and market intelligence assignments in Asia.
